We currently require an eager, motivated, and positive individual to join our dynamic team in the following position:

Rental Equipment Technician

The Rental Equipment Technician is a full-time, Monday to Friday position based out of BHD's head office in Edmonton, Alberta.

A successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition of equipment in the rental fleet, and will work closely with our team of rental coordinators to ensure every customer receives the highest quality equipment and service.

Qualifications and key attributes:

Good verbal and written skills
Strong attention to detail
Eagerness to learn about Instrumentation, Electrical and High Voltage test equipment
Strong communication and teamwork
Ability to safely lift test equipment of varying weight and size, asking for help when needed
Valid driver's license
Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the technical staff to ensure safe and reliable operation of rental equipment
Assist coordinators with outgoing orders and rental returns
Preserve rental fleet readiness
Inspect, clean, and test rental equipment and accessories
Calibrate, repair, and maintain rental equipment and accessories
Troubleshoot rental equipment
Practice good housekeeping in all work areas
Organize and tidy the rental storage room

The position is full time Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM.

Salary:
$48,000.00 per year
