Position Summary


The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administering shipping/receiving activities to ensure timely accurate flow of products for both internal and external customers.

This position is also responsible for Inventory Management, Warehouse organization, Documentation and Customer Service as well as ensuring accurate products are shipped and received.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Branch Manager, Sign Graphic, the Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Pick and pack product from the warehouse shelves for internal and external;
Ensure all orders are checked off and signed for correct product and quantities;
Report any discrepancies to Manager and CSR who took the order;
Proper investigation into any discrepancies prior to any adjustments;
Load and unload vendor and third-party trucks with product as required;
Prioritize your orders according to date, or expected date for urgent orders;
Prepare paperwork as required such as ordering packaging materials, labeling, transfer document and Packing slips;
Handling of all claims resulting from lost or damaged shipments with various Couriers;
Perform daily safety check of equipment for safe operation before using;
Follow all health and safety procedures (Steel toed boots, Gloves, etc);
Ensure all aisles are free from obstruction;
Customer relationship building - handle walk-in customers;
Restocking of shelves to ensure proper flow of products;
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse daily;
Team synergy through Maritimes team support to achieve branch targets ; and
Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.


Qualifications:
Experience operating a Forklift & Reach Truck (24') is an asset;
Forklift certificate and MSDS certificate would be an asset;
Valid Class 5 driver's license with abstract no more than 30 days old;
Experience as a delivery driver is considered an asset;
Forklift certificate and MSDS certificate would be an asset;
Clean drivers abstract;
Computer skills are required;
Industry experience is considered an asset;
Ability to lift up to 80lbs;
Excellent attention to detail, customer service, time management and organizational skills is required;
Great teamwork and team building skills;
Strong communication skills (both oral and written);
Professional demeanor under stressful situations;
Self-directed and self-motivated;
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; and
Punctual, dependable, and reliable Safety conscious is a key factor.

Drive a forklift in a safe and efficient manner;
Use a computer for documentation;
Ability to work in a fast paced, busy warehouse;
Ability to concentrate with attention to detail for accuracy;
Work to meet deadlines; and
May require occasional weekend and/ or evening work, as assigned by Manager.
