We are currently seeking a
Shipper to join our Shipping & Transportation Team.
This is a full-time, permanent position on the evening shift. As a team member on the evening shift, you will receive a 12.5% shift premium.

Shift:
Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

You would be responsible to:


  • Be a team player, working with department leadership to run an effective, efficient department
  • Inspect units prior to being received, ensuring that units meet quality, packaging and height restrictions and standards
  • Scan units prior to storage or loading and insure units are stored and loaded into appropriate bin or van
  • Physically transport units to and from the allocated bin
  • Ensure units are stored and loaded into the bin or van in the proper order and ensure on
- time completion of the loads

  • Train new staff
  • Complete regular dock audits
  • Build crates for glass and windows
  • Flex and cross train as required by leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

The skills we look for:


  • Effective interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Strong focus on safety, quality and precision details
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Experience in manufacturing, wood working, carpentry is an asset
  • Punctuality and team commitment
