About the role
We're looking for a Unit Claims Manager, Property, to join our growing team


What you'll do here:


  • Contribute to the achievement of corporate and regional objectives by measuring the performance of his or her team, ensuring the quality of claims processing, the level of compliance with standards, procedures and productivity.
  • Manage the activities of his/her team by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to the budget, while promoting teamwork and providing technical training.
  • Participate in the improvement of operational processes.
  • Make decisions for his/her team regarding the processing of claims and the payment of indemnities in accordance with company standards.
  • Promote the brand image and business principles to partners.
  • Conduct active file hearings throughout the year.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3 years of experience as an adjuster
  • At least 2 years of team management experience
  • Claims adjuster certificate
  • Strong knowledge of personal and commercial lines and liability insurance
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge
  • Cares about people
