Description

As a Grounds Worker you will be responsible for the maintenance of the building grounds, common areas, and building exterior.

- _This position is for a summer term._

Major Responsibilities

Ensure all sidewalks, parking areas, common areas, and landscaping is clear of litter, and outdoor garbage receptacles are emptied
Operate a variety of small equipment (lawn mower, trimmer, hedge pruner, skid steer, sweeper, blower, etc.)
Assist in irrigation system repairs and maintenance
Respond to service requests and emergencies
Portray a favourable image of the organization as a frontline contact with clients/tenants
Perform regular inspections of the building grounds to ensure curbside appearance is in accordance with contract and Edon's standards
Perform general maintenance tasks, including: changing light tubes, moving furniture, general cleanup services, installing pictures, minor furniture repairs, tightening door hinges, adjusting door swing, installing keyboard trays, assembling shelves and screens, painting, wall repair and other similar duties.
