Department Overview

The

TD Wealth Vendor Management Office (WVMO) is an integrated member of Enterprise Vendor Management Office (EVMO) in the Platform and Technology Group. We are a centralized support group accountable for adhering to TD Banking 3rd Party Policies by developing, implementing, and executing on vendor strategies which focus on mitigating supplier-related risk, controlling costs, service excellence, and maximizing value creation.

Reporting to the Wealth Vendor Management Senior Manager, the successful applicant will join a high-performing team and be accountable for analyzing vendor related spend and identifying opportunities for efficiency across various Wealth teams where third-party providers are involved.

Job Requirements

Wealth Efficiency Project:
on time, on target, scope, and with quality

  • Manage oversight of multiple sub / related projects
  • Facilitate meetings, requirements, processes, and communication
  • Collaborate with vendors managers and sourcing teams
  • Establish and adjust expectations: business, team, SME, etc.
  • Codify meetings, agreements, requirements, processes, and communication
  • Create documents and artifacts including charter, wrapper, etc.
  • Create artifacts as needed for financials, reporting, and presentations
  • Communicate with executive business partners efficiently
  • Resolve challenges aggressively and creatively
  • Manage a portfolio of vendor relationships, including strategic partners, as dedicated by Bank Policies that drives service excellence, mitigates risk and maximizes value for money
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal TD business and control partners and external vendors to ensure objectives are aligned and business requirements are clearly understood and met
  • Evaluate vendor performance against agreed service levels and ensure the prompt and thorough resolution/escalation of performance issues, understanding/managing risks associated with customerfacing/impacting vendors
  • Monitoring of service credits &/or penalties against vendor performance in accordance with contract commitments, and review negotiated rates and volume thresholds against aggregated spend, invoice charges, and financial commitment

Additional Information

  • 5+ years Vendor Management and/or strategic sourcing/procurement experience
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Office365 knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a highly structured, yet dynamic working environment
  • Work effectively within a team and independently
  • Excellent and confident written and verbal communication skills
