What you will do.

The Production Line Operator will safely operate and maintain the packaging machine to ensure production orders are completed on time and quality standards are maximized.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, operate, and monitor packaging machine.
Complete activity logs, records of maintenance and repair and other documentation as well as all mandatory training.
Ensure safety guards are in place and keep all safety guards in place on machines while in operation.
Respond to any issues with the machine (i.e. lights, alarms, visual indicators).
Prepare equipment and ensure the machines are properly shut down after production.
Follow company's health and safety program, rules, and procedures and work in compliance with health and safetyrelated legislation and codes.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

3+ years of Machine Operator experience within manufacturing, food manufacturing experience is an asset.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Knowledge of production, quality control, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Ability to work well in a team setting.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Must be able to lift up to 2550 lbs.
