Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a residential setting
  • Supervise daily activities and routines of the children
  • Assist with homework and educational activities
  • Plan and implement recreational and social activities for the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and other staff members
  • Ensure the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of the children
  • Administer medication and provide basic first aid when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of living spaces

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a residential or group home setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and empathy
  • Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow established protocols and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in child care or related field preferred

From $41,000.00 per year
