We are looking for dynamic Consultants to grow our IS&D team in Toronto. Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges. Your role would be as a Business Analyst with experience in Finance.

Responsibilities:

Participates in gathering and analyzing of internal business requirements by means of workshop, interviews, workflow analyses and facilitated discussions with users.

Translates users' business requirements into detailed functional designs for development, testing and implementation.

Collaborate with stakeholders, the development and QA team to elicit, analyze, specify, validate, prioritize, and document business and stakeholder requirements.

Conducting a Gap Analysis, Developing RACI, and supportive documents.
Applies methodologies such as Unified Modeling Language ("UML") and prepares detailed specifications using case statements and related documentation.
Identifies and communicates risks and issues impacting business rules, functional requirements, and specifications.
Assists quality assurance with functional test case reviews.
Collaborates with stakeholders on the evaluation of the feasibility, effort, and costs to implement requirements.
Participates in the creation of training materials and may assist with user orientation and training.
Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange information related to areas of specialization. May serves as a liaison between engineering, quality assurance and non-technical stakeholders during the development and deployment process.
Handling the User Acceptance Test ("UAT") process with the business and final sign off from business on deliverables.
Effectively resolves problems and roadblocks before they occur.
Mentors less experienced members of the team.

Working closely with Project team and help to clarify the requirements, create User Stories, Requirement refinement, writing PBI (Product Backlog) and Test Cases.

Exposure to UI/UX design is highly desired.

This is on-site requirement, no remote work.
5+ years of experience.
Able to work in minimum supervision.
Experience with SDLC / SW development processes, such as Unified Modeling Language ("UML") and Agile, Waterfall).
Experience using analytical skills, tools, and techniques to investigate information and to draw conclusions.

The ability to interact with business users at all levels of the organization including the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications for software engineers, architects, developers.

Finance/Concur.
High-level understanding of networks, databases and other technology.
An excellent understanding of various ledgers used in Finance.
Understanding of GAAP and taxation principles.
