Demonstrating leadership behaviors and capabilities consistent with industry best practice, this position will be responsible for providing oversight and escalation assistance to a team of analysts in the provision of 24x7 support of systems in use throughout Nova Scotia.
The Team Lead will also collaborate with stakeholders and clinicians to ensure projects are delivered within budget, to project milestone dates and meeting the objectives of scope.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Undergraduate degree in computer science information systems or health related field, consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and work experience
- Project Management and change management certification would be considered an asset
- Proficient knowledge of health care industry required; familiarity with clinical and administrative hospital functions and departments preferred
- Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Work, MS Visio and MS Power-Point
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in leading teams of staff with indirect accountabilities to other operational units
- Ability to execute through effective delegation, motivation and oversight
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, organize, coordinate and manage the work of a major program or function within the department
- Ability to lead and direct software upgrades
- Strong communication skills written and oral and the ability to present in large groups
- Ability to demonstrate project management, customer service and support skills, and ability to escalate and contribute to resolving issues accordingly
- Competencies in other languages and asset, French preferred

Compensation and Incentives:
$ $47.07 Hourly
