The
Hotel
Maintenance Technician would be responsible to ensure that the aesthetics of the building, facilities and equipment are well maintained and are functioning smoothly.

Must be experience in painting and drywall repairs.


Job Duties
:
Hotel Maintenance Technician

  • Maintains a safe and attractive environment for guests by ensuring the hotel is maintained with safety standards
  • Responsible for maintaining and repairing guests rooms and common areas in the hotel
  • Painting and drywall repairs
  • Performs maintenance activities such as plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware and plumbing
  • Conducts routine inspections of the hotel premises in order to check for maintenance issues
  • Repairs and maintains hotel heating/ventilation system
  • Repairs broken furniture, and handle leaks in bathrooms and kitchen
  • Maintains safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the hotel, grounds ,pool and exercise room
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager

Requirements
:
Hotel Maintenance Technician

  • High school diploma or GED is an asset
  • HVAC experience an asset
  • Ability to multi task
  • Ability to solve basic problems when they arise
  • Knowledge and the ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to work in various different areas of the building and perform many different functions to keep the building in good standing
Work Conditions

  • Ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs
  • Bending, crouching and lifting
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends & holidays

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mono, ON L9W 5X7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- maintenance: 1 year (required)
