Corporate Controller

OBJECTIVE:


CLIENT INFO:

The world's leading consumer goods company offers technically-advanced equipment and products that improve the performance of active sports participants. They are a world-wide phenomena and consumers rely on them for their top tier quality products.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage all aspects of accounting functions
  • Responsible for accuracy of G/L and Financial Statements
  • Lead and support on tax reporting, Internal and External audits
  • Work in partnership with business units for risk controls and compliances with IFRS and company policies
  • Work with HQ and Shared Services on continuous process improvements
  • Responsible for timely and quality closes for monthend and Yearend
  • Collaboration across our global organization to support internal accounting needs
  • Lead other special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Eight (8) years experience in Financial Accounting, 3 years team leadership experience.
  • Experience in public accounting preferred
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Excel, Power Point
  • Strong work ethic communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Demonstrates a desire to accomplish and achieve results quickly in a fastpaced environment
