How will you contribute to the team?


Intermediate Environmental Scientist/Engineer/Geologist/ Technologists are required to complete fundamental task related to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and remedial excavations.

Other technical responsibilities may include project coordination, subcontractor supervision, cost tracking and report preparation for peer review.

  • Historical data review and subsequent site inspections.
  • Groundwater monitoring and sampling.
  • Hydraulic conductivity testing.
  • Aquifer testing.
  • Surface water sampling.
  • Soil vapour sampling.
  • Surface soil sampling.
  • Oversite of drilling investigations.
  • Installation of groundwater monitoring wells.
  • Oversite of remedial excavations.
  • Photographic and written documentation of site activities.
  • Communication with onsite supervisors and Project Manager.

What will you contribute?

  • Demonstrated technical skills in field activities related to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) including soil and groundwater monitoring and sampling techniques, various drilling techniques, soil descriptions and terminology, remedial excavations, spill response and quality assurance / quality control.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Selfmotivated, high energy, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and multiple projects appropriately.
  • Willing to undertake field work yearround and travel throughout Western Canada and Ontario, at times for extended periods (weeks/months).
