Description

The Senior Analyst in Finance is a vital member of the HPC Finance team, reporting to the Senior Manager of HPC Planning & Analytics. The primary role of the Senior Analyst in Finance is to enhance profits, drive revenue, and reduce costs through strategic business support. Responsibilities include creating dashboards and reports based on KPIs, facilitating data-informed decision-making, and benchmarking data comparisons. Collaborating across departments is essential to ensure coherent and precise optimization strategies. This position interacts closely with operations, commercial teams, and corporate departments to guarantee comprehensive analytics completion.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

- Development of reports & dashboards for communicating KPI status and enabling data-driven decision-making processes
- Aid in financial and operations report creation and maintenance of key business unit reports
- Conduct statistical and econometric analysis on market trends and business processes
- Support special projects by analyzing and reporting on new operational, commercial, and business prospects
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for programming and troubleshooting data discovery code within IPL toolsets
- Collaborate with HPC forecasting to facilitate routine business reviews, utilizing organizational data in analytics projects and modeling for data-driven insights, recommendations, and organizational enhancements
- Perform baseline data discovery on structured and unstructured data, supporting leadership in prioritizing results discussions

Education, Skills, and Experience:

- Degree/diploma in Mathematics, Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in constructing reports & dashboards while adhering to best reporting practices and effective stakeholder communication
- Experience in identifying improvement opportunities through reporting, process, and trend analysis
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and meeting deadlines
- Clear and accurate communication with individuals at all organization levels

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
