Financial Planning& Analysis Manager - Head Office - Mississauga

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Lead of FP&A Canada, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager prepares internal financial budgets and annual forecasts.

In addition, the incumbent will develop the latest estimate projections, analyze actual results compared to estimates, and perform various financial analyses as required by department management.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Obtain pertinent information and prepare detailed forecast calculations and analysis of Market P&L & OCC using software such as TM1, Excel, SAP and GPM.
  • Assist in preparation of financial planning presentations.
  • Provide detailed variance analysis for plan vs. plan and actual including commentary explaining the variances related to Market P&L and OCC.
  • High analytical skills to overview market forecast and prepare adhoc comparable scenarios to forecast
  • High analytical skills to oversee business analysis for projects and profitability estimates
  • Ensure accuracy of computerbased forecasting and reporting systems, using software such as TM1, Excel and SAP and participate in system enhancements as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Postsecondary education. Financial designations such as ACCA, CIMC, CA or CPA is a plus
  • Three years or more of relevant experience
  • FP&A experience is required
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Initiative, resourcefulness, accountability and pride in a job well done
  • A selfmotivated and team oriented individual with the ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize the tasks

Skills, Competencies & Languages

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • SAP experience
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Bilingual is an asset (English & French)
