Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
IT Support:
- Work on IT projects as assigned by the IT manager.
- Provide support for stakeholder requests, analyze problems, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Communicate technical information to nontechnical users.
- Troubleshoot desktop and printer hardware, and software issues; resolve issues to the end user's satisfaction.
- Install, configure, and test all new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and connectivity issues.
- Develop reference, and training materials and provide enduser training.
Web Development:
- Website updates such as general updates & regular maintenance of the site.
- Work on any new web projects as assigned.
- Working with the database to create custom queries.
- General web support.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- A Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology.
- Minimum of 2 years experience within the IT industry in a support capacity.
- Strong competence in the Microsoft Ecosystem (Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, SQL, Exchange, Desktop, and Server OS), computer hardware/software, networking, and server rooms.
- Solid problemsolving, researching, and troubleshooting skills coupled with a willingness to listen, learn, share, and improve.
- Strong awareness of IT security and confidentiality.
- Ability to work, prioritize and make decisions independently in a fastpaced production environment.
- Web programming languages: Node, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery & REST APIS.
- A selfstarter and quick learner with the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Network +, CCNA, and other IT industrystandard certifications would be an asset.
- Experience working with SAP B1 & Produmex WMS is not mandatory but would be an asset.
