IAA is searching for a Lien Administrator to join our team at our facility in Acheson, AB

IAA's national service offering allows sellers to standardize processes across the country and provides buyers with Canada's most extensive selection of salvage vehicles.

IAA has nearly 4,500 talented employees and more than 200 facilities throughout the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom.

Incumbent establishes and maintains relationships with lien holders to find solutions to help sell units.

This position is the primary link between the provider and buyer; compiling back up documents to negotiate settlements between providers and buyers.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):

  • Lien follow up with buyers
  • providers
  • financial institutions
  • Establish contacts and relationships with financial institutions
  • Obtains lien release or settlements with buyers dependent on case
  • Callback assistance for branches
  • Reviews vision action queues to meet Service Level Agreements
  • Contact shops and insureds in Region for vehicle release
  • Process efficiencies for customer requirement profiles
  • Review and Follow up on vehicle arrival reports
  • Work with confidential information
  • Electronically or manually enters moderately complex reports and processes data

Job Requirements:


  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficiency in computers and software


  • Bilingual

  • French/English

Education and Certification Requirements:


  • High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • 12 years' related work experience
  • Banking or Insurance experience a plus
