Office Administrator - Ottawa, Canada - B&K Management

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a small family business located in Ottawa, Ontario that operates retirement homes across the province.
We are looking for a dedicated individual with administrative experience in the retirement living sector who will assist with daily office/administrative tasks.
Employment Terms:
1. $18.00/hr, 4 to 5 days per week (30 to 37.5 hours)
- Flexible work hours
- Remote work environment (ability to work from home)
- Must be located in the Ottawa Area
- Bilingual (asset)
Primary Responsibilities
- Payroll & Scheduling review
- Assist with recruiting, hiring & employee onboarding for all homes
- Policy & Procedure review/updates to maintain compliance with governing bodies
- Prepare rent increase forms for all homes
- Attend general meetings as requested
- Other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to communicate in French and English, both written and orally
- Knowledge of IT
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to complete payroll & schedules
- Good organizational qualities
- Flexible on work hours
- Task oriented
- Familiar with Zoom/Teams other conferencing products
Salary:
From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
