Description

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a small family business located in Ottawa, Ontario that operates retirement homes across the province.

We are looking for a dedicated individual with administrative experience in the retirement living sector who will assist with daily office/administrative tasks.


Employment Terms:

1. $18.00/hr, 4 to 5 days per week (30 to 37.5 hours)


  • Flexible work hours
  • Remote work environment (ability to work from home)
  • Must be located in the Ottawa Area
  • Bilingual (asset)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Scheduling review
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring & employee onboarding for all homes
  • Policy & Procedure review/updates to maintain compliance with governing bodies
  • Prepare rent increase forms for all homes
  • Attend general meetings as requested
  • Other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to communicate in French and English, both written and orally
  • Knowledge of IT
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to complete payroll & schedules
  • Good organizational qualities
  • Flexible on work hours
  • Task oriented
  • Familiar with Zoom/Teams other conferencing products

Salary:
From $18.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
