Position and Responsibilities

Cameco is undergoing a digital transformation that requires the support of talented training experts who understand the learning needs of the organization and develop innovative learning solutions.

Working in a team of passionate professionals you will use various learning methods and technologies to create inspiring, and engaging learning experiences.

In this role, you will conduct instructional design and development activities including the analysis, design, development, implementation coordination, evaluation and revision of synchronous and asynchronous digital learning resources, and instructor-led classroom and on-the-job training resources.

You will work with stakeholders to ensure formal training resources are developed following Cameco's Systematic Approach to Training in an effective and timely manner.

You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of learning resources to support other training initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to work remotely in this position. However, there may be a need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process. This is a two-year temporary staff position.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

Diploma in adult education, instructional design, or a related program
Eight years of experience in training development, design, and/or delivery
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Experience using digital training/design software

Assets:

Certificate in Adult Education
Bachelor of Education
Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP)
Solid understanding of a systematic approach to training

Applicants will be considered for a level within the job progression which is appropriate to their qualifications.
