ABOUT THE ROLE:


As the Communications Specialist for the Brand & Communications team you will be responsible for supporting our mission to tell the stories that make it clear that we are the global powerhouse in ancillary revenue by being the protector and champion of our brand, and promoting our company through our social channels.


In this role, you will have accountability for ensuring our brand guidelines are upheld across all assets at the company, and take pride in being known as the brand police \uD83D\uDEA8.

You're passionate about creating a consistent presence in the marketplace, and have an interest in social media for B2B, as well as employer branding.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Reporting to the Brand & Content Manager, you will:

  • Be our lead brand ambassador, communicating how our brand identity and logos should be used in various locations (internal, external, by business unit), and knowing our brand guidelines inside and out. Work closely with our Design team to ensure our guidelines and associated assets are up-to-date, organized, and clearly communicated to the business.
  • Work closely with the HR team and team leads to identify and execute upon regional opportunities to promote Plusgrade as an employer of choice in the travel and tech industries through employment awards, thought leadership opportunities, and sponsored/earned content. Help to shape the company culture in ways that support our brand values.
  • Manage our B2B social media channels, including writing posts, working with the design team to develop visual assets, managing our social media calendar, and tracking and reporting results.
  • Be responsible for executing on brandrelated projects, such as business cards, swag, office signage, including sourcing and managing vendors, and working with the Creative Team, Office Services and others across our global business.

YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:


  • About 2 years of experience in marketing, brand, communications/PR, or similar.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Extremely organized, methodical and detailoriented, and adaptable to change.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable communicating with people across all levels of our business.
  • Demonstrated initiative and quick thinking to provide timely solutions.
  • Experience in loyalty, travel, or tech is a bonus
  • Being bilingual (English & French) is an asset.
