Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6:45 am to 2:00 pm
Friday 4:30 am to 12:30 pm
Saturday 4:30 am to 1:30 pm
Sunday and Mondays off
Compensation:
$15.50 plus.75 shift premium for each hour worked
Job Duties
- Follows cyclical menus and recipes
- Greets customers and provides friendly and courteous service, while preparing and cooking to order as per request, at grill, fryer, and other food stations
- Ensures that all food remains eyeappealing and replenished throughout the service
- Cold kitchen production washes, peels, slices, dices, and juliennes all vegetables and fruits required for food stations and catering services
- Prepares all ingredients for and assembling of sandwiches and salads for food stations and catering
- Tear down line after service either storing correctly or disposing of product
- Clean line and grill area
- Ensure that correct storage conditions for products such as meats, produce, and dairy are maintained
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Load, run and unload industrial dish machine
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
- Bag and haul trash in the service, kitchen and dish areas to the designated area
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system; operates debit / credit machine
- Completes transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Set up and restock front of house areas such as condiments stands, coolers, coffee area; maintains tidiness of the area(s)
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years industrial cooking and food service experience
- Ability to work independently and with a team, meet time targets, with strong organization skills
- Solid knowledge of food preparation and handling principles, processes, procedures, policies, directives and guidelines
- Knowledge of equipment and materials to use / operate used in food preparation areas such as grills, ovens, deep fryers, slicers, steamers and knives
- Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Successful Police Check will be required
Salary:
$16.00 per hour
