What You Will Do:
- Provide assistance to Project Managers for executing projects.
- Ensuring the successful completion of deliverables and services throughout the project lifecycle, by working with both internal and external partners to establish resourcing and ongoing project support.
- Develop and communicate timely updates on project status and performance.
- Actively track assigned deliverables progress and to plan and take necessary proactive actions to correct adverse situations or trends.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor degree engineering, science or technical diploma from an accredited technical institute.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management, engineering management, or construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and office software tools.
- Motivated selfstarter, with great people skills who works well independently in a fast paced team environment.
- Familiar with industry codes, regulations, standards, and specifications will be an asset.
- Predict obstacles, challenges, and risks to proactively determine mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problems.
- Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with some field work required.
- Scheduled travel to operating facilities, construction sites, and manufacturer's facilities (up to 25%).
- Available outside normal work hours to address any work related and environmental issues that occur during active projects.
