Description
We are looking for a full time bookkeeper to join our team. Duties will include accounts payable & receivable, and reconciliations. Preparation of income statements, balance sheets and project reports. Responsible for payroll, auto deposits, payroll deductions remittances.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Accounts payable
  • Bank deposits and reconciliations
  • Preparation of income statements and project reports
  • Payworks payroll, deductions remittances
  • SR&ED claim reporting
  • Financial Statements
  • Accounts Receivable, collections


  • Invoicing

  • Quickbooks Online
  • Preparing yearend for Accountant
  • Preparing contracts and new hire packages
  • Initiating employee benefit plans
  • Entering expense receipts
  • Maintains historical records by properly filing documents
  • Conducts and implements accounting procedures to comply with federal and provincial legislation and advising management on appropriately needed actions
  • Followup payment
  • Prepare Cash Flow
  • Update financial metrics

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience with Quickbooks Online

Minimum 1 year with Experience with Payworks

Excellent skills in the current Google Suite of products, Drive, Docs, Sheets

Business diploma or bachelor degree with 2+ years accounting experience

Energetic, self-motivated and results-oriented

Ability to work under pressure

Strong attention to detail


Salary:
$27.00-$36.35 per hour
