Critical Outcomes from the Job

  • Lead overall DTC strategy, planning and execution for US & CA including digital sales, newsletter sales and social shopping.
  • Provide topline weekly business insights and recurring monthly sales and KPI performance reviews. Work with team to leverage key selling trends and drive quick action to help improve results.
  • Lead newsletter strategy execution in Klaviyo to meet sales and other established KPIs including list growth, open rate, etc.
  • Lead on site sampling strategy, forecasting, execution, and analysis, focusing on driving cost effective sample to full size conversion.
  • Continuously analyze site performance and customer behavior data in Google Analytics, GA4, Shopify and other platforms to identify opportunities for improvement, implementing datadriven optimizations and enhancements.
  • Take lead in recommending additional enhancements to improve data available for future learnings as well as customer experience.
  • Lead partnership with our Merchant of Record partner. Hold regular check ins, be the point of contact if sales are not on track, errors arise, and other tasks as required and as related to the D2C operations.
  • Partner with internal planning and our warehouse logistics teams to minimize inventory shipments.
  • Devise and implement the eCommerce search strategy for (Paid Search, Shopping & SEO)
  • Maintain visibility of SEO reports and align with actions to resolve errors

Qualifications and Experience

Education/Experience

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably with a Marketing or Business background
  • Clear expertise understanding of the key tenets of eCommerce and digital merchandising.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to lead a scaled business
- including financial foresight with areas like profit and revenue drivers.

  • Record of delivering eCom growth, including 57+ years of eCom experience.
  • Proficient understanding of Shopify ecommerce 3+ years.
  • Experience with CPG brands.
  • Experience leading campaigns and new initiatives on Shopify.
  • Working collaborative to support new product launch campaigns on digital platforms.

Skillsets/Competencies

  • Experience with 3rd party apps including Shopify, Klayvio, Recharge, Google Analytics, GA4, HotJar, Asana and Salsify.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross department to educate, influence and successfully launch digital and omnichannel programs.
  • Strong skills in strategy and planning, budget, and P&L management, merchandising, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to translate internal vision to the online channel and execute strategies that lead the company consistently towards that vision.
  • Must have a customercentric perspective, passion for owning and driving a business endtoend, willingness to innovate in response to market conditions and trends, and not be afraid to take risk.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills derived from having direct responsibility for building and managing a cohesive, highperforming team.
  • Creative and analytical thinker and problem solver, thrive in fast paced environment, prioritize, and oversee multiple projects at once, have attention to detail and work well with cross functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong crossfunctional collaboration skills.

  • Strong understanding and appreciation of online shopping from a merchant and customer side.
