General Information:

This position reports to the Procurement and Inventory Manager located in Varennes, Quebec. As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for activities such as supply, and ERP system management.

Responsibilities:

Supply/procurement

Manage the execution and monitor procurement activities in support of buyers (warranty cases, followup of nonconformities, update of delivery dates)
Ensure communication of inventory discrepancies and impact on purchases.
Maintain and validate weekly reports and performance indicators related to the purchasing department (supplier scorecard)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management and Logistics or other related field with minimum of 2 + years of prior experience in a manufacturing setting working in a Materials Management role

Computer proficient and the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
Demonstrated expertise in SAP Material & Planning Modules (MM, PS & PP), including all relevant planning parameters such as inventory controls, replenishment, warehouse management and procurement functionality in ERP
Must possess strong leadership/supervisory skills
Motivated individual with a can do attitude, self starter, personable and collaborative attitude
Ability to solve problems swiftly
Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Customer service oriented
A high level of dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
French & English verbal/ written communication skills
