Finance Administrator to join our team in

Saint John, NB .


Your Primary Responsibilities will be:

  • Receive and review employee expenses for company credit card program
  • Verify expense report calculations against receipts submitted and ensure appropriate backup and approvals
  • Perform data entry of employee expense amounts in Microsoft Dynamics GP ensuring that expenses are coded to the correct general ledger accounts
  • Ensure appropriate allocation of GST and/or PST
  • Contact employees or vendors to request supporting documents to resolve discrepancies
  • Provide advice and guidance to staff on policy and procedures
  • Respond to enquiries from staff and external organizations on financial transactional matters
  • Reception duties including answering and directing calls, receive incoming mail and monitoring visitor access
  • Partake in projects focusing on process improvement and process documentation
  • Banking duties, deposits, and administrative duties as required
  • Reviewing and auditing liabilities including purchase order receipts
  • Ad hoc reporting and projects
  • Postsecondary education
  • Experience in an accounting or accounts payable
  • Understanding of accounting fundamentals
  • Computer literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail orientated and deadline conscious
  • Highenergy, goal oriented, selfmotivated and must have a positive attitude
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve
