Your future role on our team


Join BBA and make the most of your experience by actively contributing to the expansion of our digital transformation solution, from strategy to execution.

You'll be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and will be using your leadership skills every day, whether it's to built and manage a passionate team, develop trusting relationships with our partners or train the next generation.

This role will give you the opportunity to take the lead, while also being in the thick of the action by working closely with talented people.

Your mandate will include growing our current regional business successes in Cybersecurity and Digital Power Systems into national successes. Furthermore, under your leadership, your team will provide digital 4.0 senior consulting to our clients in our core markets.

An overview of your mandates and responsibilities

  • Building on our current cybersecurity successes, expand the current team (~20 people) into a national division that will assist our clients with the various cyber challenges they face.
  • Deploy the Digital Power Systems group (~20 people), currently operating successfully in Québec, across other regions to help BBA reach national coverage in this expertise.
  • Support and coach a team of strategic digital advisors who'll engage in senior advisory services and support the 4.0 technology proposal process in BBA's main markets.
  • Work in partnership with multiple stakeholders to define BBA's digital strategies and roadmaps.
  • Stay abreast of global digital trends and implement action plans to develop BBA's future capabilities in 4.0 technologies.
  • Support the team and participate in the business development of our digital expertise.
  • Inspire and drive a culture of bold innovation, agility, entrepreneurship and excellence across the firm.
  • Support the implementation of digital 4.0 practices to help complete various projects.
  • Build and engage your team to meet the organization's priorities and ensure its performance.
  • Demonstrate skills in being a caring and inspiring director for your teams.
  • Recruit, integrate, support, motivate, develop and coach your team.
  • Monitor the budget for your activities.
  • Be committed to promoting your service offering.
  • Support the business development team and actively contribute to requests for proposals

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • University degree in engineering or computer science or a combination of an education and relevant experience
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience, including at least five (5) years of experience leading and growing teams, from strategy through to operational execution
  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable clients
  • Experience in a project management position or project management in a technology or engineering firm
  • Proven success working within a highly matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities
  • Excellent knowledge and ease with analytical tools and data concepts (BI)
  • Asset: Fluently bilingual (English and French)
  • Asset: Experience in cybersecurity, digital power systems, automation or 4.0 digital technologies
