We are looking for the ideal person to fill the position of carpenter-joiner within our company.

You will have the privilege of working with the next generation of Construction JL Groleau, a passionate team that thinks big, where each person contributes to the success of the company.

Under the responsibility of the site foreman, you will have to perform various tasks such as frame assembly, exterior cladding, insulation, interior finishing, installation of doors and windows, etc.

Main functions

As such, you will have to:

study plans, drawings and sketches to determine technical specifications and calculate material requirements;

- prepare the layouts, using measuring tools, taking into account the prescriptions of the building codes;
- measure, cut, shape and assemble elements in wood, chipboard, light steel or other materials;
- erect foundations, install floor beams, lay the flooring support, mount pre-assembled structural and roofing elements;
- adjust and install joinery elements such as doors, stairs, moldings and hardware;
- maintaining, repairing and renovating wooden dwellings and structures in factories, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments;
- supervise the work of apprentices and other construction workers.
