Working for the Department of Computing Science


The Department currently consists of 51 faculty members, approximately 326 graduate students, 20 post-doctoral fellows and research associates, 1,352 undergraduate students, and 12 administrative staff.

Our research partners come from a wide variety of industries and other academic disciplines.

CMPUT 19- Introduction to Principles and Techniques of Data Science

CMPUT 29- Introduction to File and Database Management

INT D 49- Data Science Capstone


Qualifications

  • The appointment requires either a thesisbased Masters of Science or Ph.
D degree in a closely related discipline to computing science or data science.

  • Essential is successful teaching experience, including the ability to mentor teambased, data science capstone projects.
