Regular - Barista to join the Starbucks Team.
This position will provide service in the Starbucks located in the lobby of the hotel.
This position is responsible for fulfilling guest orders; preparing beverages in accordance with menu standards and provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests.
Interested applicants MUST be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays. Shifts could either be opening shifts which start at 5:00am and/or closing shifts until 8pm.
Starting wage for the Barista position is $18.98 per hour, after 6 months, wage increases to $22.14 per hour and after 1 year, wage increases to $25.30 per hour.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Must have a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a busy and fast paced environment
- Must have an open and flexible availability to work various shifts which would also include weekends and holidays (opening shifts would start at 5:00am and closing shifts end at 8pm)
- Must have Food Safe certificate
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be an excellent team player and able to work with a diverse group of individuals
- Must remain professional at all times
- Must have previous customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Must possess good upselling skills
- Must have excellent and refined communication skills
- Previous Starbucks experience is not a requirement but would be considered an asset
- Previous coffee shop experience is an asset
- Knowledge of a second language is an asset
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing throughout shift
- Frequent walking throughout the shift
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 30lbs)
- Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
- Must be capable of performing repetitious duties
