Description

We are looking for a full-time construction driver/labourer to join our team We are a mid-sized construction company in Toronto with jobsites all over the GTA.

This job involves performing a wide variety of construction and maintenance tasks both onsite and at our workshop in Toronto.

Responsibilities:

Provide general labour support on all jobsites and workshop
Pick and Deliver materials, tools, and supplies (Valid G Class Driver's licence required)
Load/unload construction materials, tools, debris (lifting 50lbs+)
Operate company machinery and tools, as needed, once trained
Assist and take direction from team members such as carpenters, assistant carpenters, working foreman, etc.
Clean and maintain workspaces including housekeeping, organization, and garbage disposal

Requirements:

Minimum 1year experience in construction
Steel toe footwear
Valid G class driver's licence _(mandatory)_
WHMIS and Working at Heights training _(not mandatory, but considered an asset)_
Have reliable, punctual transportation to the workshop and jobsites
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment in all types of weather conditions
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
