The
Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering our wide range of equipment to and from various jobsites.

When not performing deliveries, you will be tasked with the preparation, shipping, receiving and upkeep of Aquatech's fleet of specialized dewatering and bypass pumping systems, water treatment systems and all associated components including advanced remote environmental monitoring instrumentation.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with loading and delivering rental equipment to external and internal customers through a work order process.
  • Ensure equipment and quantity of accessories being delivered is properly identified and recorded on paperwork.
  • Inspect equipment upon loading, note any defects, broken, damaged equipment.
  • Operate company trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and document as required.
  • Inform Supervisor when vehicle requires maintenance or repairs.
  • Return paperwork with all recorded information to the Supervisor.
  • Perform yard and shop duties when no driving/deliveries are required.
  • Assist in pumping system setups as required.
  • Act in accordance with Aquatech's Health and Safety and Environmental Management systems.
  • Respond to emergency field service calls.
  • Participate in a rotating afterhours emergency response oncall schedule

Qualifications

  • AZ Drivers license
  • Minimum 3 years driving experience
  • Valid Ontario Driver's license, in good standing
  • Mechanical aptitude an asset
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Uninhibited ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, reach and grasp
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and on a daily basis
  • Willing to work weekends and on call
  • Knowledge of pumping equipment rental business an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$23.00-$26.00 per hour
