Assistant Store Manager to our team at
Milton store location
As advocates of responsible consumption, we are here to educate and build our cannabis community.
Our goal is to provide customers with only the finest products, with our knowledgeable and personable team to assist with each individual need.

Position Overview:_
The
Assistant Store Manager's responsibilities pertain to the overall function and flow of the day-to-day retail store operations.
You will lead by example and possess the ability to inspire and motivate those around you to be the best team members possible.

What we require:_
As an integral part of the Leadership team, you will know how to react to the business needs, to account for the fluctuation in traffic throughout the day.
You will inform the team about promotions, new products, and up-sales opportunities. You will also attend to our customers in their pleased and displeased states. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will allow you to transition negative moments into positive outcomes and customer retention.

Requirements and Qualifications:_
- Preemployment Criminal Record Check
- CannSell Ontario Standard Certificate
- Desire and the ability to develop a positive, indepth understanding of cannabis
- 3 years plus experience in a similar scope of role successfully leading a team
- Detailoriented and able to handle cash, POS register and all sales transactions
- Proven track record with demonstrated sales and customer service skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently/unsupervised
- Exemplary communication, problemsolving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and train and educate others in processes, procedures, and products
- Meet the physical demands of a retail environment including transporting up to 11 kg
- Technologically proficient in use with tablets, MS Office, Google Docs, and other operating systems including troubleshooting
- Education in business administration, sales or relevant field is desirable
Typical responsibilities of the job include:_
- Regularly opening and closing the store
- Staff Management, scheduling, recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff
- Helping with customer queries and concerns
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory bodies including Federal and Provincial, employment standards, health and safety and AGCO
- Sales and Money Management
- Maximizing profitability and meeting sales targets with and through the team
- Coach and direct team members to carry out their daily duties
