Job Description:
For it's head office and under the responsibility of the divisional controller, Techo-Bloc is seeking an Assistant Controller who will become the resource-expert for all that concerns the analysis and the management for the accounting operations of the divisions to which he will have the responsibility.
- Assist the controller in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and notes in the EF;
- Assist the controller in the preparation of the annual budget jointly with the departmental directors;
- Track and reconcile the fixed assets module;
- Participate actively in the endofmonth and yearend process with the external auditors;
- Assist the controller in various financial analyzes (inventory, sales, COGS, margin, insurance companies);
- Assist the controller with the migration to AX 365;
- Follow the "transfer pricing" for redistributed transactions in other legal entities;
- Track prepaid fees, current properties, monthly installments;
- Swing any form of auxiliary (inventory, AP, AR, sale);
- Reassessment of payable, receivable, bank account in other currencies;
- Validation of pay;
- Calculate commissions;
- Calculate and track monthly provisions;
- Redistribute costs shared between sister companies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in administration, accounting option;
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in Canada;
- Bilingualism (English and French) both orally and in writing (English is required in order to service our customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec);
- 2 years accounting experience cumulated;
- Previous experience as an assistantcontroller (an asset);
- Experience in the manufacturing field (an asset);
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX (an asset);
- Advanced Excel Proficiency;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Great organization skills and ability to respect deadlines;
- Team player and autonomous.
