    About Us

    Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world's largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.

    The Role

    In this role you will:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance for the radiation protection program throughout the operation.
  • Collect, maintain, and record radiation data as well as issue radiation work permits.
  • Conduct routine monitoring and assess working conditions pertaining to radiation protection for the safety of all workers.
  • Required:

  • You are currently enrolled in a science-based post-secondary education program and possess strong communication and computer skills.
  • You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.

    The successful candidates will work a term of approximately four months (May to August). You will work a rotational schedule commuting to the site by aircraft. Interviews will take place in January 2024. Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
