Enterprise Application Administrator

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
  • Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the systems including performance management; install and configure patches and upgrades as required.
  • Manage and maintain user access control and permissions. Establish appropriate access, permissions, and menus for system users.
  • Maintains systems documentation.
  • Provides advice and training to endusers.
  • Analyze internal user business requirements and develop, maintain, and modify reports for the ERP and CRM platforms.
  • Configuration planning and installation of MS-SQL databases.
  • Conduct database performance analysis, tuning and maintenance.
  • Create and maintain reports in SQL server 2016/2019 Reporting Services.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of enterprise software solutions.
  • Ability to select new enterpriselevel software packages and optimize existing processes.
  • Application security management skills and experience.
  • Microsoft SQL Certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is an asset.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) and Power BI.
  • General Database Administration, Performance and Health/capacity monitoring (SQL Server 2016/2019).
  • Understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
