What You Will Do:
- Facilitate Kaizen Events, Gather Information & Create Documents.
- Facilitate Internal Lean Training.
- Assist in CI implementation.
- Coordinate Lean implementation activities including Kanban development, value stream mapping, takt time analysis, 5S+1 visual workplace.
- Participate in manufacturing plant audits.
- Conduct new hire lean orientations.
- Update shop floor information as needed.
- Attend supervisor weekly update meetings.
- Maintain the OEE Cimco system.
- Teaching and leading cross functional teams on Lean and Six Sigma tools.
- Other administrative tasks associated with Lean Improvements / Corrective Actions.
- Assist in maintaining and updating visual management system.
Position Details:
- Fulltime
- 40hour work week
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in process, manufacturing or industrial engineering, or engineering technologist with relevant experience.
- Four years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Good math and analytical skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, waste removal and cost reduction.
- Ability to travel between facility locations when required.
- Valid class 5 driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is an asset.

$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
