What You Will Do:

Facilitate Kaizen Events, Gather Information & Create Documents.
Facilitate Internal Lean Training.
Assist in CI implementation.
Coordinate Lean implementation activities including Kanban development, value stream mapping, takt time analysis, 5S+1 visual workplace.
Participate in manufacturing plant audits.
Conduct new hire lean orientations.
Update shop floor information as needed.
Attend supervisor weekly update meetings.
Maintain the OEE Cimco system.
Teaching and leading cross functional teams on Lean and Six Sigma tools.
Other administrative tasks associated with Lean Improvements / Corrective Actions.
Assist in maintaining and updating visual management system.

Position Details:

Fulltime
40hour work week

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in process, manufacturing or industrial engineering, or engineering technologist with relevant experience.
Four years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Good math and analytical skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, waste removal and cost reduction.
Ability to travel between facility locations when required.
Valid class 5 driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is an asset.

$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
