Royal Vancouver Yacht Club (RVYC) is seeking a talented individual like you to join our dynamic team as a Line Cook and Pizza Chef .

Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, established in 1903, is a renowned private yacht club located in the heart of Vancouver, BC.

With a rich history and a commitment to excellence, the Club offers world-class dining experiences, outstanding recreational facilities, and a vibrant social atmosphere.

Our culinary team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable moments through exquisite food and delightful presentations.
Daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen.
Setup station and restock items according to restaurant guidelines.
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Serve food in the proper portion size and at the proper temperature.
Maintaining food quality and safety standards
professional diploma in culinary arts or food services is an asset.
food services management experience is an asset.
Demonstrated knowledge of food and catering procedures, trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
