QUALIFICATIONS

  • Physically fit you will be doing heavy lifting for extended periods of time in a fastpaced repetitive work environment.
  • Previous related experience is an asset.
  • Embodies quality, safety, and customer service.
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized with good communication skills
  • Ability to set goals and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions

Role Responsibilities:


  • Travel with driver on delivery routes
  • Assist driver with offloading product (heavy lifting)
  • Perform the delivery function with excellent customer service in mind
  • Comply with all safety rules and procedures and Ministry of Transportation laws
  • Assist transportation team members, complete tasks and meet customer service requirements; Must maintain excellent punctuality and attendance record
  • Use proper lifting techniques
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal


Pay:
$20.55-$22.32 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Nanaimo, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
