As a Payroll Administrator, this position will be responsible for the administration of all full-cycle payroll activities and ensure the timely and accurate payment of employee wages, provide on-going support to the payroll team on a regular basis, assisting the team which includes but is not limited to data entry, syncing information, processing monthly reporting and benefit reconciliations.

Key Focuses

Verifying employee and timekeeping data.
Computing and processing wages, deductions, benefits, and any other nonregular wages payments.
Updating and syncing employee data across all payroll platforms, including promotions, transfers, leave of absences, terminations, and new hires.
Responds to inquiries and requests from staff in a timely, professional and courteous manner or directs to the appropriate person(s).
Ensures compliance with company policies, compliance standards and employment laws, provincial and federal regulations.
Year-End processing, payroll reporting, including processing T4s.

Experience/Passions/Education

Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification or equivalent to 3 years of payroll experience required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail, and strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
