Team and Job Overview


The Business Enablement's team mandate is to provide the business line with the required knowledge, skills, products and insights to optimize their interaction with the customers and partners, and to help EDC teams manage their financial and operational risks and create efficiencies.

Reporting to the Vice President, Business Enablement, the Administrator will be part of a dynamic team.

The role of the Coordinator is primarily responsible for the support of the office of the Vice President.

The Coordinator supports the daily functions of the Business Enablement team/ including attending meetings, providing logístical and program management support on key portfolios, as well as group budget management (reconciliation, maintenance and forecasting) responsibilities.

They will liaise and work closely with the support team of the Vice President.


Discipline Summary

  • Supports general business operations by providing various administrative support activities for the Business Enablement team.
  • Provides administrative support to Executive and/or nonexecutive employees or groups in the organization.
  • May arrange business travel, coordinate meeting arrangements, and/or submit/track expenses.
  • Identifies, enhances and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of office workflows to which the support is being provided.
  • Is a selfstarter, creative thinker, and ready to jump in and support the growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the VP and the Business Enablement team including, but not limited to handling correspondence, managing and coordinating VP calendar and meeting agendas, managing workflow, routing information, preparing documents and presentations, arranging logistics, processing inquiries, administering and reporting on budgets.
  • Provides file, document or information storage and retrieval services including classification, organization and electronic data/Information entry or sourcing.
  • Manage VP's travel scheduling and bookings.
  • Administers Business Enablement team expenses and tracking.
  • Manages and coordinates Leadership meetings (including the development of agendas and materials) & minutes (Weekly, Monthly, Townhalls, etc.).
  • Prepares communications and meeting materials, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Solves administrative problems and initiates improvements to administrative standards, controls and processes.
  • Provides support on EDC events, both internal and external.

Screening Criteria

  • Completion of secondary school.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in administrative for a Senior Leadership Executive.
  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English).

Assets

  • Administrative/Executive Assistant training would be an asset.

Salary Range
- $43,500-64,000, plus performance-based incentive.
