Purpose and Scope:
Reporting to the Compounding Supervisor, Hunter Amenities International Ltd. is looking for a high performing individual to join our Production team.

The Compounder will be responsible for batching formulas for a variety of cosmetic and toiletry products for the hotel and retail industry.

Both the day shift (7:00am-3:15pm) and the afternoon shift (3:00pm-11:15pm) are available.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Batching of liquids
Improve the profitability by output and efficiency of the batch
Follow GMP procedures in compliance with government regulations
Follow SOP's in compliance with government GMP's and corporate objectives
Ensure schedule is followed
May include manufacturing pilot batches and participate in troubleshooting problem batches
Participate in the conduction of annual GMP audit of the Compounding department
Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standards and complete appropriate documentation as required
Complete all other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous compounding experience
B.Sc in Sciences is desired but not required
Problem solving, decision making skills and troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to multitask and to meet tight deadlines
Motivated, self starter who can work independently within a team environment with mínimal direction and a passion to learn
Able to respond to the needs of a multishift operation
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fastpaced environment
Communicate effectively with coworkers and possess excellent people skills
Flexibility and adaptability to overcome challenges and successfully execute projects
Have a positive attitude and be customer service oriented
Be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
Some heavy lifting required

Salary:
$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.75 per week
