Purpose and Scope:
Reporting to the Compounding Supervisor, Hunter Amenities International Ltd. is looking for a high performing individual to join our Production team.

The Compounder will be responsible for batching formulas for a variety of cosmetic and toiletry products for the hotel and retail industry.

Both the day shift (7:00am-3:15pm) and the afternoon shift (3:00pm-11:15pm) are available.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Batching of liquids
  • Improve the profitability by output and efficiency of the batch
  • Follow GMP procedures in compliance with government regulations
  • Follow SOP's in compliance with government GMP's and corporate objectives
  • Ensure schedule is followed
  • May include manufacturing pilot batches and participate in troubleshooting problem batches
  • Participate in the conduction of annual GMP audit of the Compounding department
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standards and complete appropriate documentation as required
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous compounding experience
  • B.Sc in Sciences is desired but not required
  • Problem solving, decision making skills and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to multitask and to meet tight deadlines
  • Motivated, self starter who can work independently within a team environment with mínimal direction and a passion to learn
  • Able to respond to the needs of a multishift operation
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fastpaced environment
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and possess excellent people skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to overcome challenges and successfully execute projects
  • Have a positive attitude and be customer service oriented
  • Be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
  • Some heavy lifting required

Salary:
$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.75 per week
