Responsibilities:

Purchase materials, equipment, and supplies needed for the organization
Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to ensure costeffective purchasing
Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, including evaluating their performance and resolving any issues that arise
Collaborate with internal teams to determine purchasing needs and specifications
Utilize purchasing systems and software to track inventory levels, place orders, and manage vendor information
Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential new suppliers or costsaving opportunities
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
Use MRP system

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze pricing proposals
Knowledge of vendor management best practices and sourcing strategies
Familiarity with purchasing systems, such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detailoriented with strong organizational abilities
