SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for a Loader Operator.

About Your New Role:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Mill Operations, the Loader Operator, will be responsible for operating the loader equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport materials from the ore pile to feed the mill crusher.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Loading hoppers in an efficient manner.
Operating various loaders as required.
Cleaning and lubricating equipment and refilling equipment tanks.
Conducting preoperational checks on equipment.
Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance of hopper.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Assist mill operators and maintenance personnel as required.
Work in concert with Crusher Operators.
Perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
Report maintenance concerns to Supervisor and Maintenance department.
Keep a daily log of shift events.

Your Knowledge and Skills:

Good communication skills to understand verbal instructions and to relay maintenance concerns.
A positive and proactive attitude towards safety is essential.

Your Education and Experience:

Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
Experience operating equipment and/or working in a mill would be considered an asset.

About Our Working Conditions:

This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.
