This position helps in maintaining the grounds on resort to the highest standards, it includes general landscaping of flower beds.


Hourly rate of $17.45

  • Friday 7am3:30pm**
    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?*
  • Performs landscaping and maintenance duties on Blue Mountain Resort property and Resort affiliated properties. Work includes, but not limited to;
  • Planting and preservation of trees, bushes and hedges
  • Installation and care of new and existing flower beds
  • Mowing and trimming of lawns
  • Makes basic repairs/ maintenance of department equipment such as mowers, tractor/trailers
  • Informs Management of supplies required, such as equipment parts
  • Responsible for waste management of trash, recycling and food waste (organic matter)

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Valid Class "G" Driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract:

  • Experience in grounds construction and soft-scapes an asset
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (rain, heat, humidity, etc)
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Able to do menial tasks that are physical in nature
