We have an opportunity for a regular full time
Executive Assistant II to join our growing team This is a fantastic role if you are looking to grow your Administrative career in a large complex organization.

Reporting to the Board Liaison Officer and Manager, Governance and Corporate Records, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing executive senior administrative support to the Corporate Nursing Executive & the Office of Health Ethics.

This position requires discernment and diplomacy to effectively and efficiently maintain a senior management office and schedule.


Area of Assignment:
VH President**Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Rate of Pay:
$ $39.35 per hour

Qualifications:


What you bring:


  • Successful completion of twoyear Diploma in Medical, Executive or Office Administration, or equivalent (as acceptable by the Hospital); Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant, recent secretarial or office experience at a senior level, preferably in a Health Care setting
  • Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), Virtual Platforms (Teams, WebEx, Sharepoint), PeopleSoft, and Internet/Intranet
  • Demonstrated welldeveloped servicebased interpersonal and communication skills, in person, in writing and by phone
  • Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving and decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, accurately and in a wellorganized manner using project management skills
  • Ability to flex daily work schedule to support Board or Committee meetings as required
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work environment and respect deadlines while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
