- At least a year's experience in a customer service role
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Keen attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a variety of different settings
- Valid G Driver's License and reliable transportation to a number of our Niagara sites.
- Excellent work ethic, punctual and flexibility are required.
- Weighs and documents each truck leaving the quarry to ensure that loads are correct and do not violate safety transportation regulations.
- Responds to customer inquiries and to provide information on products and materials. Refers customers to sales representatives as necessary.
- Receives payments in cash, cheque and credit cards and completes appropriate documentation to ensure records, orders and cash receipts balance.
- Produces a variety of reports such as Transaction Reports, Sales Data Reports and Cash Sales Reports, to provide current information to various departments.
- Operates a three way radio system to communicate with various colleagues at the quarry and assist in the smooth running of quarry operations.
- Opens and closes the scale house to ensure systems such as computers, security etc., are operating correctly.
