Description

Delivery of goods and products to customers (stores) in a timely manner.

Ensuring quality control of the products while minimizing damage.
Accuracy in distribution of product to appropriate store
General maintenance of vehicle
Delivery of Food Centre finished products to stores as per schedule and routes
Ensures mechanical and physical condition of trucks are consistent with provincial safety standards. Any problems with vehicle condition is immediately reported to Food Centre manager.
Performs routine daily maintenance checks on trucks.
Loading and unloading of product to and from truck, ensuring accuracy of orders.
Drives in a safe and defensive manner obeying provincial motor vehicle rules and regulations and maintaining drive relations in line with company public image.
Friendly, courteous service
Deliveries generally made on sunrise shift.
Typically work a 4day week of hours each day
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Some high school plus 6 months related work experience or combination education and experience. Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
