Job Summary/Basic Function

This position will assist Landfill Attendant staff in maintaining site conditions and assist the public with education on waste disposal options.

Duties
Assist Landfill Attendants with various responsibilities on-site including, weed control, litter control, public education, and stockpile contamination.

Qualifications

You must be attending school, college or university during the last school term and returning to your studies in the subsequent academic year.

A valid BC Class 5 Driver's License is required.

Customer service skills.

Experience performing labouring duties.

Ability to perform all the required physical duties including working on your feet all day, pushing, pulling, lifting, sweeping in all weather conditions.

Ability to work alone using the buddy system as well as work with a team.
