Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Our Project Manager (PM) is an integral member of the Professional Services team. They are the main point of contact for our client's project engagements. Much of their time is dedicated to managing project timelines, expectations, and resources.
They bring a solid project management background combined with strong customer service experience to the benefit of our clients and team.
They can effectively manage 30 to 40 projects at a time in various stages of delivery in an engaging and fast paced atmosphere.
What do our PMs do?- Deliver projects that meet customer expectations on time and on budget.
- Facilitate the project plan, including project scope, objectives, risks, assumptions, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure, milestones, and deliverables.
- Manage the scope of the project, changes to the project deliverables and scheduling issues while ensuring customer satisfaction, profitability, and technical compliance.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of project status and deal with issues promptly and adequately.
- Participation in weekly project related meetings.
- Ensure project documentation/reporting is accurate and current to all stakeholders.
- Provide the Professional Services Team Leader with a weekly summary of project statuses, calling out Off track and early close projects.
- Identify areas for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
- Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided.
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.
- Understanding of managed services and the value offered over a typical breakfix environment.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and documentation skills at all levels internally and externally, interpersonal, business management, time management, and developmental skills.
- Skilled at defusing highstress situations and facilitating resolution to technical problems.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Talented interpersonal abilities to build rapport with customers and teammates alike.
- Selfstarter with a positive attitude.
- Strong sense of initiative and ownership over work.
- Exceptional followthrough skills.
- Ability to work effectively and complete assigned tasks with mínimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of direct work experience in project management
- Completion or enrollment in Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Strong working knowledge of project management foundations including scope, time, risk, HR, communication, and quality management.
- Broad understanding of IT Network Environments
- Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work in a fastmoving environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- ITIL certification.
- Associate's degree or higher.
- Understanding of, and a background in working within the IT managed services provider business model, particularly in an IT support role.
- Experience with ConnectWise, Kaseya, or other similar MSP tools and software.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure and other Cloud service offerings.
- Flexibility in your schedule to handle the occasional nonbusiness hours tasks.
- An awareness of all our key IT services.
- This position requires standing, walking, sitting, using hands, seeing, reaching, talking, and hearing. May need to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
